How CivicPowerUSA.org began: On March-20-2003 one of our daughters asked, "Dad, why are we bombing Iraq?" Our leaders and media were not being honest about the reasons for the war. Our public trust was violating the public's trust. Their dishonesty about Iraq turned out to be only a tip on the iceberg of their vast and dangerous betrayal. The answer to our daughter's question grew into CivicPowerUSA.org, a democracy weapon/tool that conservatives and liberals can deploy and wield to stop and prevent war on other nations -- and on America -- by American wealth-and-power.
