How to BEGIN to Stop and Reverse the Right's War on Self-Governance and Public Good

During their campaign to gain power over the American public and take wealth from the American public -- launched in 1980, planned a decade earlier, and intensifying today with no letup in sight -- consolidated American wealth-and-power (the American Right) aided by their media machine breached the national/homeland security of, and wage war on, America's self-governance and five kinds of public good. They corrupt America's democracy, law, and justice as needed to grow their wealth and power at the expense of the present and future public. They morphed America's government of/by/for We the People into government of/by/for Wealth and Power. They heist vast financial wealth from America. They inflict massive social/economic/bodily collateral harm in America. They block "common defence" against their war on America's self-governance and public good. They erased from America's public education and public mind the #1 reason for the American Revolution stated in the Declaration of Independence (Britain's refusal to assent to laws "most wholesome and necessary for the public Good") -- and they erased America's supreme moral purpose ("establish"/"insure"/"provide"/"promote"/"secure" the five kinds of public good "[for] ourselves and our Posterity" listed in the first sentence of the US Constitution) -- in order to prevent America from realizing how their assaults on public good (including on myriad forms of "Justice" and "general Welfare" and "Liberty") are crimes against America. They trick America to help them. They blind America to their wrongs. That huge treasonous problem -- war by the American Right and their media machine (including the news media) on America's self-governance and five kinds of public good -- began to flare up three decades ago and worsens today. The surefire total solution has existed for more than two centuries and awaits to be unleashed. Below is the first step:

To begin to defend America against the mounting assaults on democracy and common good by American wealth-and-power and their media machine, to begin to restore and grow and secure principled self-governance and bountiful public good in America, to begin to end harm to other nations by American wealth-and-power and thereby end blowback against America, EXPOSE America's huge treasonous problem and PROMOTE the full solution required by the US Constitution. Do it as an act of national/homeland defense of America's self-governance and five kinds of public good. Merely by exercising freedom of speech and of the press. Merely by exercising the right to peaceably assemble and to petition for redress of grievances. It is Step 1 to Real Change.

The PROBLEM to expose. America's Self-Governance (fair democratic processes and true representative governance, our democracy) and America's Five Kinds of Public Good (the "Justice" through "Liberty" for "ourselves and our Posterity" listed in the first sentence of the US Constitution since 1787, the common-good bedrock of our "more perfect Union" and the American Dream, the moral purpose of our democracy which happens to vastly exceed the human-to-human goodness required by the Ten Commandments) -- the very self-governance and very public good that We the People won and built commencing on July-4-1776 -- are under intensifying covert assault by consolidated American wealth-and-power: the illegal fusion of wealth/corporate power, federal executive power, federal legislative power, federal judicial power, spy/blackops/police/military power, red/blue political-party power, mass-media power, and Christian-Right religious power into a dangerous unbridled power, the American Right. In 1980 they began in earnest to consolidate and build their forces, gain power over the public, and take wealth from the public, all as stealthily as possible. They began to plan it in 1971. They created an advertising/PR/news/entertainment print/radio/TV/film/web media machine to hide their wrongdoing from America, promote themselves as good for America, and manipulate citizens to help them dominate and plunder America (and other nations) and get away with it. They breached the national/homeland security of America's self-governance and all five kinds of public good; to succeed they disabled the entire national/homeland security system of multiple safeguards the Framers wired into our Constitution and Bill of Rights to prevent domestic wealth-and-power from ever consolidating into an unbridled power and then harming America's self-governance and public good (three of those safeguards they disabled: separation of powers; separation of church and state; freedom of speech and of the press to foster and protect America's democracy and common good, especially the freedom to expose and indict and call for action against Americans who harm America's democracy and common good). They corrupted and rigged America's democracy to serve them at our expense: no matter who we vote for, red or blue, as time marches on they gain more and more wealth and power and we lose more and more self-governance and public good (more so when we elect reds, less so when we elect blues). They subverted America's government of/by/for We the People back into the government of/by/for Wealth and Power we rose up against in 1776. They take financial wealth from the public at the rate of trillions of dollars a year, by means of the giant wealth-mining system they set up and operate. They take well-being wealth from the public, especially "Justice" and "general Welfare" and "Liberty" of many types. They inflict collateral homeland death at the rate of more than fifty 9/11s a year. They block "common defence" against their war on America's self-governance and five kinds of public good. They trick the public and indoctrinate our new generations to help them acquire more and more wealth and power at the expense of others by whatever means necessary. During their pursuit of wealth-and-power happiness they loot more money, inflict more suffering, and take more lives than terrorists ever have and ever could, hot news they keep out of the news. All of it allowed and some of it abetted by their National Security and Homeland Security. All of it aided by their White House, Congress, Supreme Court, red/blue political parties, Christian-Right supporters, and media machine. All of it "Treason" as defined by Article 3 Section 3 of the US Constitution. The 'patriotic' and 'moral' American Right is a modern domestic form of the consolidated-wealth-and-power enemy we indicted in our Declaration of Independence for waging war on self-governance and public good and then neutralized during the American Revolution.

The SOLUTION to promote. We the People, who by law have supreme power and are the government of America, carry out the Total Real Change called for by our "supreme Law of the Land": we defend America against the right-wing domestic enemy and we restore/grow/secure the self-governance and five kinds of public good they began waging war against soon after our 200th Fourth of July. First, to be able to unite and cooperate toward Total Real Change, we must understand the peril of and overcome the enemy's two forms of Divide-And-Conquer manipulation: Fragment The Problem, Fragment The Public. Those two stealthy manipulations 1] trick us to focus on just bits and pieces of their total war-on-self-governance/war-on-public-good wrongdoing one momentary dot at a time and never connect them, to never see the persisting big picture of who they are and the wrong they commit, to never detect their security breach of and mounting attacks on all facets of America's self-governance and public good, to never perceive the need to sound the alarm and mobilize America and execute national/homeland defense against them; 2] fracture the general public, and fracture the national/public interest (America's self-governance and five kinds of public good), into myriad demographic segments and political niches/markets and self-interests that compete and clash; 3] destroy "domestic Tranquility" (such as by pitting conservatives against liberals) to insure domestic discord and thereby cripple our ability to unite and cooperate to stop them and reverse the harm they inflict; 4] prevent us from seeing and solving the whole problem as successfully as America's founders did (consolidated wealth-and-power is waging war on self-governance and public good so unite and cooperate to stop it); 5] prevent United We Stand for our own self-governance and our own public good; and 6] assure Divided We Fall to their assaults on our democracy and our common good. Even well meaning pro-democracy/pro-common-good organizations, advocates, activists, journalists, and their websites and blogs have fallen victim to the right's two forms of Divide-And-Conquer manipulation, evident by how they practice and teach and spread Fragment The Problem, Fragment The Public and thereby assist the right when they fight the fight. Worry not. A powerful solution to America's whole treasonous problem has existed for more than two centuries. During this American Revolution II -- a long-overdue major maintenance and tune-up of the America won by American Revolution I -- conservatives and liberals unite and cooperate, indict and neutralize the right-wing domestic enemy, and reestablish government of/by/for We the People. Note: conservatives and liberals (the vast majority of citizens) are rooted in the principled-self-governance and bountiful-public-good bedrock values of America ordained in our Constitution; right-wingers (at most 10% of the public), who disguise themselves as 'conservative' and their media machine as 'liberal,' are rooted in the enemy-of-1776 practice of dominating and plundering and inflicting harm without qualm, the very practice described by the "Abuses" and "Injuries" and "Usurpations" listed in the main section of our Declaration of Independence (the list fills half of the charter!), the very practice outlawed by our Constitution. The weapon/tool's four-element plan and political strategies come from our primal urges for justice, ancient survival wisdom, early American history, and arsenal of moral/legal firepower born out of the American Revolution: Declaration of Independence, US Constitution, and Bill of Rights. This wellspring of civic power awaits to be fully tapped into and unleashed. We can win more assuredly than after we declared the same kind of change on July-4-1776.
